I love my Kobo

Recently I have been reading - perhaps reading too much as the girls are saying "Mommy do you want your book reader?" when I try to get in a few minutes computer time ! Cute little monkeys that they are want their own computer time and are trying to get me to read even more than I am.

My husband got me a Kobo e-reader for an early birthday gift and I am in love with it, it's so easy to use and after about 2 hours with it I forgot I was holding an e-book and tried to turn pages, that's right it's so much like a book that I forgot I wasn't reading a book.

You would be delighted to have one I am certain. I love that I can go to the library from my couch. There are hundreds of titles available at my library with more being added daily, it's a book lovers dream come true - no late fees on books you haven't quite finished, no losing your page because the Kobo remembers where you left off and opens right to that spot when you pick it up again.

I've charged it 3 times since I got it in early January, that means on average I am getting 2 weeks worth of reading out of a single charge, that's like 3-4 books for me. (Yes I read a lot)

Uh oh - a first official blog post - what to say ?

Here it is post 1.
I'm a 33 (nearly 34) year old mom and wife.

My husband and I have 3 lovely ladies who are 2, 4 and 14.

I am a college educated, contesting junkie, coupon user, crafty, reader who does market research and marketing campaigns in her spare time. I work part time doing customer service in food retail. I've been a mystery shopper, Santa's elf, waitress, adult novelty sales lady and quite a few other things in the past.
My hope for this blog is to entertain, teach and learn. I'd love to do reviews and will often blather at length about great products I've tried and make known those products and companies I'm not happy with as well.

I look forward to getting to know my readership and hope you'll come back often and share my little blog with your friends and family (even enemies if you want - readers are readers!)
